The process to create Infinitealum involves re-melting metal from shavings and off-cuts of quality 6061 aluminum. It uses far less energy and resources than creating new metal from aluminum oxide, which must first be mined and refined through energy-intensive processes (primarily powered by coal), and can cause loss of habitat, toxic mine tailings and water contamination.

Aluminum is infinitely recyclable without compromising the strength and durability of the material. Choosing to use recycled 6061 aluminum means we reduce our impact on the environment by eliminating the need for newly mined aluminum oxide.
