Axiom’s Kompressair G200A scores 9/10 in Cycling Weekly floor pump test!

The UK’s Cycling Weekly magazine put 13 sub-£90 (approx. $160 CAD) floor pumps to the test in its April issue. Among them was Axiom’s own Kompressair G200A, which comes in at £65 (or about $120 CAD). Each of the contenders was tested on Presta performance, number of strokes required to reach 100psi, height of handle extension, and gauge accuracy.

Against tough competition (such as Lezyne’s Steel Digital Drive), it was no surprise to us that the Kompressair came out on top, earning a 9/10 rating and Cycling Weekly’s ‘recommended’ badge.

From Cycling Weekly:

“The solid steel base is totally protected by a large rubber sleeve so the pump remains stable throughout even the most enthusiastic use. The pump action itself is super-smooth and the top-mounted gauge is very easy to read with clear numbers and increments as well as a marker bevel.”
